The Nantong Geyi Art Museum in Jiangsu province has recently launched its latest exhibition featuring the artworks by Wang Geyi, a native of Nantong, and artists from Shanghai.

The exhibition showcases nearly 30 artworks, including calligraphy, painting, and seal cutting, which embody both grand and majestic, as well as delicate and subtle qualities, reflecting the artists' profound appreciation for life, reverence for nature, and unwavering pursuit of artistic excellence.

The first-floor exhibition hall presents Wang Geyi's works from different periods, offering insights into his artistic journey through photos and historical materials. Meanwhile, the second-floor exhibition hall displays the works of renowned Shanghai artists such as Wu Changshuo, Ren Bonian, and Pu Hua.

"Wang has created numerous works, and each time I look at them, I gain new insights," said Zhang Yuehong, a Nantong citizen, who has been studying traditional Chinese painting for 20 years. "Observing his brushwork and use of colors can offer us a lot of help in learning to paint."

The exhibition is scheduled to run until Oct 18.
