The 2024 Nantong Jianghai International Culture and Tourism Festival commenced at the Huanxi Culture Square on Sept 29, enhancing the city's reputation as a hub for recreational activities.

The annual culture and tourism event has been held with the Shanghai Tourism Festival for five consecutive years, emerging as a significant platform for Nantong to collaborate with Shanghai and integrate into the southern Jiangsu region.

Featuring nearly 100 cultural and tourism activities spanning eight themes, the event aims to elevate Nantong into a globally renowned cultural and tourist destination, blending Chinese aesthetics with the rich essence of Jianghai Culture.

At the opening ceremony, 12 renowned Nantong banquets were announced, and nine online travel influencers were employed to refer to the city's culture and tourist attractions.
