The Qidong Marine Engineering and Shipbuilding Industrial Park has witnessed a surge in production activity attributed to a robust influx of orders. From January to July, the industrial park reported industrial sales revenue amounting to 18.8 billion yuan ($2.65 billion) and a total industrial output value of 19.47 billion yuan.

The industrial park accommodates multiple companies specializing in the production of offshore engineering equipment, marine special-purpose vessels, and energy and heavy equipment. These enterprises have contributed significantly to the park's impressive performance, cementing its status as a key hub in China's offshore and shipbuilding industry.
