Nantong CIMC Energy Equipment Co Ltd, which is Located in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, has made significant achievements by focusing on technological innovation.

Since its establishment, the company has been tackling key technical challenges. One of its core innovative products, the LNG tank container, was developed in response to China's energy transition and green development strategy.

In November 2018, the company successfully transported 130 LNG tank containers from the Hainan LNG Receiving Terminal to the north by sea. This marked China's first successful south-to-north gas transport using LNG tank containers, ensuring precise delivery of natural gas resources.

"Technique innovation is one of our company's core competitive advantages. The combination of multiple processes, such as fitting, assembly, wrapping, and welding, allows us to produce cryogenic storage and transportation products with complex structures and high precision," said Jiang Ping'an, deputy general manager of Nantong CIMC Energy.

Thanks to its leading market share in industrial gas tank containers, small cryogenic storage tanks, and nuclear fuel transport containers, the company's annual sales have soared from 200 million yuan ($27.68 million) at its inception to 1.2 billion yuan last year.
