New quality productive forces are considered crucial to China's high-quality economic development, while cultivating qualified digital professionals is necessary for the development of such forces.

Relevant experts and scholars recently gathered in Nantong, Jiangsu province, to share their insights into how the city fosters digital talent.

Huang Huang, a professor at Peking University, suggested that Nantong can attract such talent through material conditions and supporting facilities and by mobilizing local universities and institutes to broaden their talent pools.

Nantong boasts numerous talent platforms that can release reports on the development of digital talent in the city and explore the establishment of a digital talent committee, noted Wu Shuai of the Chinese Academy of Personnel Science.

Wang Jing, president of Nantong Talent Development Group, explained that Nantong is currently experiencing huge demand for digital talent. Be it the government, manufacturers or service companies, all in Nantong are in need of digital professionals to aid in digital transformation.
