Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province, launched an updated action plan comprising 68 measures to optimize its business environment on March 18.

Version 3.0 of the action plan revolves around policies, markets, government affairs, and the legal environment. Among the specific measures laid out in the plan are continued efforts to shorten processing time for tax refunds, ensuring that the average processing time for exporters does not exceed four working days.

Moreover, the plan aims to provide high-quality and efficient one-stop overseas recruitment services for enterprises. It pledges to organize recruitment events in 50 colleges for no fewer than 200 employers annually, offering at least 20,000 jobs.

"The favorable policies of Qidong truly give companies a sense of relief and comfort," said Wang Zhipeng, an office director of CCCC Third Harbor (Nantong) Marine Engineering Co Ltd. He emphasized that the company will leverage these policies to accelerate digitalization, strengthen scientific research, and contribute more to Qidong's high-quality development.
