A cultural exchange event took place at the Nantong Indigo Print Museum in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, on March 20, drawing foreign students from countries including Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Rwanda.

During the event, international students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities such as indigo printing, sugar painting, palm weaving, and paper cutting, allowing them to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

A highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Nantong University International Students' Chinese Cultural Experience Base at the museum. Three inheritors of intangible cultural heritage were appointed as guest lecturers for the experience base, adding depth to the cultural immersion.

Beyond this event, Chongchuan plans to leverage various cultural venues such as museums, scenic spots, and the Zhongguancun Information Valley to organize a series of high-quality cultural activities. These activities will include folk experiences, community reading programs, academic seminars, and practical exercises, aiming to strengthen cultural exchanges between China and other countries and promote traditional Chinese culture.
