Nantong digital traffic industry park thrives with leading companies
Since its establishment in 2022, the Nantong digital traffic industry park in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province has emerged as a hub for pioneering companies in the digital traffic sector.
The industrial park is currently home to over 20 research and development centers, pilot bases, and standardized workshops, with 36 enterprises having signed contracts to set up operations.
One such company is Jiangsu Keyun Zhihui Transportation Technology Co Ltd. Its innovative small black box, designed for monitoring the risk of bridge collapses due to vehicle and vessel impacts, is currently deployed under the Simagang Bridge in Rugao, another city in Nantong.
According to Zhao Liang, the general manager of the company's business unit, eight core products developed by the company have been applied to more than 110 conventional bridges across the province.
Another industry leader within the park is Jiangsu Zelu Technology Group Co Ltd, which was established in 2011 and has been recognized as a national-level high-tech enterprise. The company specializes in multiple sectors, including big data networks and the Internet of Things, and currently serves as a provider for several major projects across the country.
To enhance services for its growing number of businesses, the park has established an operations and management center, which offers one-stop services such as registration applications, property management, property leasing, and rent reductions.
By 2023, the 36 enterprises within the park had generated turnover of 800 million yuan ($111.12 million).
