In recent years, Chongchuan district in Jiangsu province's Nantong has been actively exploring methods to accurately match job openings with potential employees.
Last year, the city established the Rapid Employment casual labor service platform. This platform now comprises a mini program, nine enterprise-version WeChat groups, and over 200 onsite points at China Mobile service halls, which combine to provide comprehensive employment services.
Operated by local authorities and free of charge, the platform offers information about both part and full-time jobs. Job seekers are able to contact employers directly, explained Qian Dongmei, a staff member of the platform in Chongchuan district.
Companies and individuals registering on the platform are required to use their real names in order to guarantee the rights and interests of job hunters. Qian also noted that the platform offers occupational injury insurance ranging from 100,000 yuan ($14,027) to 800,000 yuan.
The platform has accumulated more than 30,000 users in Chongchuan, and listed nearly 7,700 jobs. To date, over 2,000 people have successfully secured employment through the platform, according to the staff member.
