Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province was listed as part of the sixth batch of provincial all-area tourism demonstration regions in Jiangsu, reflecting its substantial efforts and achievements in cultural tourism.

The district is currently home to one 5A-level tourist attraction, three 4A-level sites, seven 3A-level destinations, and many scenic spots at the provincial and national levels.

Chongchuan has previously been honored as a national-level historical and cultural city, a provincial-level pioneer in integrating cultural and tourism industries, and a provincial-level exemplar in cultural and tourism consumption.
