Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has long been a proponent of fostering technological innovation, propelling the rapid growth of local high-tech enterprises.

Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co Ltd, located in Pingchao town, stands out as a leading force in the nation's electronic components sector. The company's capacitor sales have consistently held the top spot in the country and rank third globally.

In 2019, Jianghai Capacitor developed the fully-automated production workshop for electrolytic capacitors and put the workshop into operation in March 2022. "The current 10 production lines are continuously being optimized and upgraded," said Zhang Hongbing, the director of the company's product lines.

The new production line has reduced the production cycle from 5 days to 10 hours, with the number of operators decreasing from five to three people. "This not only improves production efficiency but also achieves intelligent management while being more environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient," said Zhang.

Jianghai Capacitor also places great importance on the commercialization and implementation of technological achievements. The company currently holds 141 patents, including 57 invention patents.

This year, Jianghai Capacitor was recognized as a national-level enterprise technology center.

Nantong Tongda Silicon Steel Technology Co Ltd, located in Xingren town, is another standout in the district, specializing in the professional production of motor stator cores. It has been recognized as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise.

At present, Tongda's independently-developed products are widely used in strategic emerging industries such as intelligent equipment and new energy. The company currently holds a leading market share in the Chinese market.
