The intelligent factory of Jiangsu Dasheng Group, located in Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, recently made the 2023 list of intelligent manufacturing factories, according to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Dasheng Group is a leading textile company in digital reform and intelligent transformation. Its intelligent spinning mill, which started trial operation at the end of last year, has helped the company reduce the on-site workforce by more than 20 percent and decrease the product defect rate by over 15 percent.

At present, 105 enterprises above the designated size in Chongchuan have finished evaluations on their intelligent transformation needs. The district is currently home to four benchmark factories adapting industrial internet, four provincial-level intelligent factories and 12 provincial-level intelligent workshops.
