Senior media professional Huang Junsheng used more than 200,000 Chinese characters and dozens of photos to tell the history of Nantong as well as the city's close relations with the BRI in Nantong: The Biography.

The book was published by Foreign Languages Press, which is affiliated to the China International Communications Group and is the latest work of the "Biographies of 100 Cities along the Silk Road".

"The book has not only filled the gap in publication about Nantong's history and culture, but also left an incredible mark on the city's historical and cultural undertakings," said Guo Yihao, deputy secretary-general of CPC Nantong Municipal Committee.

Guo added that he hopes more Jianghai Culture will be explored and related brands will be built to better tell Nantong stories and expand the influence of Nantong.

Lu Cairong, deputy director of the China International Communications Group, noted that the group and Foreign Languages Press will do their best to promote the book to domestic and international readers.
