Jiangsu Shenlan Space Co Ltd, based in the Nantong High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiangsu province, was awarded the second prize for its reusable liquid carrier rocket project at the just-concluded 11th Entrepreneurship Jiangsu Technology Entrepreneurship Contest.

The competition is the largest, most prestigious, and widely influential entrepreneurship event in the province. Since its inception in 2013, it has evolved into a crucial platform for attracting top-tier talent and sharing innovations and entrepreneurial achievements.

This year's competition began in May and attracted a total of 7,690 teams and companies from both domestic and international backgrounds. After 13 regional rounds across the province, 560 entrepreneurial teams and companies advanced to the provincial level.

Projects spanned six major industries - new-generation information technology, biomedicine, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy, and energy conservation, and sixty entrepreneurial teams and companies emerged as finalists in the provincial championship.

In addition to Shenlan, four companies from Tongzhou district, Nantong, secured tickets to the 12th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition's national finals, marking the highest number in Nantong.
