The opening ceremony of a cultural and tourism consumption campaign was held in Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 22.

The ceremony featured song and dance performances, cultural experiences, and games, attracting many local residents, who watched and participated in the activities. In addition, the event included dazzling light shows and food markets.

The campaign aims to harness the region's cultural, commercial, and tourism resources to provide visitors with a wider array of enriching consumer experiences.

To promote local cultural and tourism development, Hai'an has cooperated with Jiangyan district in Taizhou and established a regional tourism integration development alliance, aiming to leverage the geographical advantages of both regions to deepen cooperation, expand markets, and promote mutual tourism between the two cities.
