The Chinese sports delegation for the Hangzhou Asian Games was established in Beijing on Sept 12. The delegation has a total of 1,329 members, of which 886 are athletes, including 437 female athletes and 449 male athletes.

The average age of the athletes is 25. During the competition, they will participate in 38 major events, excluding kabaddi and cricket. Among participating athletes, 36 are Olympic champions.

Nantong has a total of three coaches and 10 athletes participating in the Games, two of which are from Qidong: fencing team coach Chen Feng and fencer Xu Nuo.
