Authorities of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province have been making efforts to extend government services to industrial parks, innovation centers, business complexes and banks in an effort to optimize the business climate.

One of the efforts saw a delegation of 30 staff members from the area's government affairs service center providing explanations of their services on a one-on-one basis at the Nengda Biomedicine Innovation Park on Sept 1.

The innovation park focuses on the life and health industry, with a direction towards the innovative research and development of biopharmaceuticals and medical devices, incubation and acceleration, collaborative coordination along the entire value chain, and achievement commercialization.

Currently, there are eight service windows in the park's one-stop service center, including government affairs services, capital and financial services, enterprise services, industrial services, platform services, leasing services, investment promotion services, and property services.

Authorities will also strengthen the precision of services, including compiling a service booklet, dispatching a special staff member and conducting a training course, to help the innovation park transform into an influential biomedical base in the Yangtze River region.
