Haohe River scenic area, a 5A-level scenic spot in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, recently won provincial recognition for its sightseeing project of touring Haohe River by boat.

Visitors can take the boat to tour along the 10-kilometer Haohe River while viewing the best part of the historic and cultural city as the river flows past its various cultural facilities and historic blocks. They can master their own tour time and get off and board the boat whenever they like.

With lush trees on both sides, Haohe River scenic area boasts numerous attractions, beautiful scenery and numerous gulls, wild ducks, and fish hawks. In recent years, the scenic area received about 6.5 million visitors on average each year, bringing prosperity to surrounding catering, entertainment, and shopping facilities.

To add more vitality to Haohe River and enrich tourists' audio-visual experience, the scenic area has hosted more than 30 cultural and art activities this year.
