The world's largest multipurpose heavy lift vessel, Mingxing, was loaded with complete wind power equipment on July 13 at the general terminal in the Lyusi port area, Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong, Jiangsu province.

This was the first time complete wind power equipment to be exported since the opening of the general terminal, making Lyusi Port a new base for the export of such goods in the Yangtze River Delta region.

A total of 12 sets of complete wind power equipment were exported, with a total volume of about 89,000 cubic meters and a total weight of more than 8,340 metric tons. The maximum weight of a single piece was 140 tons. After loading, the Mingxing set sail for Chile on July 14.

Next, the general terminal in the Lyusi port area will build a wind power equipment loading and unloading system to attract more wind power products to the port, promote the development of the regional wind power industry, and drive the agglomeration of the wind power industry in the Lyusi port area with safe, high-quality, and efficient loading and unloading services.
