Haili wind power equipment manufacturing, export base starts construction in Qidong

Construction started on the Haili wind power high-end equipment manufacturing and export base in Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province on June 27. It has received a total of 2 billion yuan ($276.12 million) in investment.

After construction is completed, it is expected to generate more than 3 billion yuan in annual taxable sales and pay more than 100 million yuan in taxes.

Jiangsu Haili Wind Power Equipment Technology Co Ltd is one of the largest domestic suppliers of offshore wind power supporting equipment. The high-end equipment manufacturing and export base will consist of six factory buildings and a 50,000-metric-ton shipping supporting terminal and have a designed annual throughput capacity of 1.39 million tons.

It is hoped that construction of the base can be completed in the first half of next year and the terminal can be be put into operation by the end of next year.

Wind power supporting equipment such as pipeline racks, single piles and offshore modular platforms produced by the base will not only be sold in the domestic market but also to Europe, the Americas and Southeast Asia.
