With its wide experience in manufacturing and strong capabilities in product research and development, Nantong Taisheng Blue Island Offshore Co Ltd – based in the county-level city of Qidong, administered by Nantong, in East China's Jiangsu province – has been focusing on technological innovation.

Over the past two years, the wind power towers produced by Taisheng Blue Island have been sold in Australia, Japan, Vietnam, Canada, Ukraine, Ecuador and many domestic cities – showing a marked upward momentum in sales.

During the first three quarters of the current year, the company generated 1.5 billion yuan ($235.4 million) in sales, up 108 percent over the same period last year.
