Haisun promotes innovation to boost manufacturing development
Haisun Group in Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has been leveraging innovation to boost its manufacturing development in recent years.
Haisun, which started out producing iron chains, owns many patented products and is one of the leading enterprises in the elevator parts industry in Nantong.
Jiang Xiaoxia, the production manager of one of Haisun's factories, said that their compensation chain, which is used in elevators, is one of their patented inventions. The factory can produce over 800,000 meters of this chain every month.
According to Jiang, the company can also produce more than 100 types of compensation chains.
In addition, the company has developed China's biggest cotton gin, a prestressing force straightening machine, and an advanced wood baler, said Gu Hao, the chief engineer of the company.
Gu noted that the wooden baler produced by their company has been well-received among clients.
Haisun has also made efforts to expand its manufacturing business through a multi-business development strategy.
To date, the company has invested in more than 10 enterprises and expanded its business to include fields such as railway equipment, mechanical cubic parking lots, microelectronic materials, machine tools, and even finance.
