A cooperation summit for enterprises from Macao and Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, was held on Feb 24 in Macao.

The event featured nearly 50 enterprises from Macao and aimed to promote the business environment and the service industry in Chongchuan, as well as attract more investment from Macao.

The service industry in Chongchuan has seen significant development in recent years.

In 2022, the taxable turnover of the service industry in the district was over 400 billion yuan ($57.67 billion), an increase of 7.2 percent year-on-year.

Wang Xiaohong, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee, said that Chongchuan will continue to provide quality services to enterprises and welcomes more investments from Macao enterprises.

The summit also witnessed the signing of deals for four projects and the opening ceremony of a talent exchange station.
