Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, held its first recruitment fair of the year on Jan 29, local media reported.

During the fair, more than 300 enterprises offered over 5,000 jobs, and 3,000 people reached tentative agreements with companies.

To provide convenience for jobseekers, many large digital screens with recruitment information were installed in the hall, and a special zone for people to find odd jobs was arranged by the organizer.

In addition, the recruitment had a branch venue in Donglan county in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and recruited 50 people to work in Hai'an.

Next, Hai'an human resource authorities will hold six job fairs in Lueyang, a county-level city in Hanzhong, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on Feb 1-3 to attract a labor force for local enterprises in Hai'an.
