Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has experienced high-quality development in recent years. 

In 2022, the district's GDP is expected to reach 167 billion yuan ($24.33 billion), with an increase of 2.8 percent year-on-year. 

Tongzhou is working to bring in more projects. 

Alpha Ess Co Ltd opened a production center in the Nantong National High-tech Development Zone in 2022. 

Its taxable turnover is expected to reach 800 million yuan after it reaches its targeted output. 

Tongzhou is currently home to 52 key projects with a total investment of over 45 billion yuan, and the district has unveiled policies to provide financial support to local enterprises. 

To date, Tongzhou has provided local manufacturing enterprises with more than 3.2 billion yuan in loans, and has been making efforts to improve the living environment. 

Tongzhou authorities have added 750 parking spots, equipped eight old residential communities with 25 elevators.
