Haimen adds 26 enterprises above designated size in Q1-3
Twenty-six micro and small enterprises in Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province were added to the list of enterprises above designated size in the first three quarters of this year, according to data from the district's development and reform commission.
One of the reasons behind this is the efforts made by the district's authorities to support the development of its MSEs.
For instance, authorities have established an evaluation system that collects data about candidate MSEs' sales, taxes, energy consumption, environmental protection to help select MSEs that have good economic returns and great development potential.
The district has also improved its financial support, granting an award of up to 10,000 yuan ($94,972.35) to each newly selected enterprises above designated size.
In addition, authorities have been stepping up efforts, including rolling out favorable policies for MSEs as well as channeling more resources such as funds, talents and energy towards MSEs, to optimize its business environment.
Cultivating more enterprises above designated size is critical to bolstering the district's industrial economy, said a local official.
