The Nantong Intellectual Property Protection Notary Service Center was launched on July 26 in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone – located in the Tongzhou district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Focusing on intellectual property rights or IPR creation, applications, protection and management, the notary service center will provide all-round and full-time legal notary services.

This is expected to boost the capability of the city's notary industry to accurately safeguard IPR protection.

What's more, by centering on the two major sectors of intelligent equipment manufacturing and modern textiles, the center will provide notary services – before, during and after the process – as well as collaborative and overseas protection notary services by means of legal consultations, scheme designs, notarizations, mediation, escrows and custody.

At present, the notary center has set up an office in the China (Nantong) Intellectual Property Protection Center and has installed an all-in-one service machine there.

Enterprises can choose online self-services or on-site appointments for notarization in the light of their locations and wishes. In addition, the WeChat official accounts of the notary offices in Nantong are all accessible to the public.
