The 2022 China Nantong International Home Textile (Spring and Summer) Fair was held at the China Dieshiqiao International Home Textiles in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province on June 21.

More than 2,500 businesspeople from around the country attended the fair, during which four major home textile brands organized meetings for companies to place orders.

Wu Xinming, mayor of Nantong, said at the fair that more purchasers are welcome to visit the city and seek cooperation with local home textile enterprises.

Wu also promised to offer a favorable business environment and efficient administrative service to local enterprises.

Nantong is reputed as the hometown of the textile industry in China. The city is presently home to more than 5,500 home textile enterprises with their products exporting to over 150 countries and regions.

Last year, the sales revenue of the Nantong International Home Textile Park, a merger of China Dieshiqiao International Home Textiles and Tongzhou Zhihao Market, exceeded 230 billion yuan ($34.27 billion), accounting for half of the nation's total.
