Nantong airport resumes air routes

The Nantong Xingdong International Airport in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has gradually resumed the air routes which were suspended due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

The airport has resumed air routes to 18 cities in China, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Kunming, and Chengdu.

There are currently three to four flights to Chengdu, two to three flights to Shenzhen, and more than one flight to Quanzhou, Chongqing, Kunming, Guiyang and Xi'an per day.

Shenzhen Donghai Airlines Co Ltd will launch a new air route between Nantong and Wuhan on May 28.

The flight will depart Nantong at 9:50 am and arrive in Wuhan at 11:20 am and the return flight will depart Wuhan at 12:30 pm and arrive in Nantong at 13:50 pm.

Passengers from low-risk areas are required to show green health and travel codes and a negative result from a nucleic acid test taken within the past 48 hours before leaving the airport.

Those from medium- and high-risk areas or with an asterisk in their green health QR codes must test negative for COVID-19 within 48 hours before their departure and will be transported in a closed loop manner to their destinations in Nantong.
