Nantong Qiangsheng Agricultural Science and Technology Co Ltd in Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province has been busy supplying vegetables since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Shanghai.

About 30 to 50 metric tons of tomatoes, celeries and Chinese cabbages are being delivered to Maqiao and Wujing in Minhang district and Gucun village in Baoshan district in Shanghai every day.

Due to Shanghai's lack of eggs, one million eggs were delivered to Maqiao town in Minhang district within three days, said Lu Xiaoqiang, chairman of Nantong Qiangsheng Agricultural Science and Technology Co Ltd.

In addition, the company also provides vegetables for local market in Nantong. On March 25, the wholesale center for agricultural products in the city was closed due to pandemic prevention and control. Within just two hours, the company collected more than 580 tons of vegetables.
