Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province recently rolled out an app to carry out online business registration.

In recent years, the Haimen district administrative examination and approval bureau has been working to implement an electronic registration system for individual industrial and commercial households, which has simplified procedures, reduced waiting times and eliminated paper usage.

Now, the entire business registration process, including registration information filling, registration form generating, electronic signature confirmation, business license generating and registration file saving, can be completed with a mobile phone in just a few minutes' time.

After the approval, the business operator can choose the nearest administrative service center to print the business license themselves, or have the license delivered to their home.

From the beginning of this year, a total of 634 individual industrial and commercial households have been registered, of which 602 were registered through the app.

Next, the administrative examination and approval bureau will offer more online services and promote integrated licenses to relax restrictions on market access and optimize the business environment.
