Qichuang Cup entrepreneurship competition starts
To attract more top-flight domestic and overseas personnel and boost high-quality economic and social development, the county-level city of Qidong – administered by Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – launched the seventh Qichuang Cup Entrepreneurship Competition on March 20.
Running from March to September, preliminary rounds will be held in several cities, with the finals taking place in Qidong.
Xi'an city in Northwest China's Shaanxi province will hold a round focusing on electronics information, semiconductor equipment and the new energy sectors and Wuhan city in Central China's Hubei province will host a round on precision machinery, energy saving and environmental protection industries.
Elsewhere, Shanghai in East China will attract the attention of the biomedicine and life health industries and Shenyang city in Northeast China's Liaoning province in its round will highlight the high-end equipment manufacturing and new energy sectors.
Some 30 first-class projects will be selected from the four preliminary rounds to take part in the finals.
