Nantong Junyu Rack Co Ltd in Yuelai town, Haimen district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, produced the racks used for lifting stages at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, local media reported on Feb 22.

Junyu is an old company with 17 years of rack production experience. In 2012, it served as the rack producer for the China Central Television Spring Festival Gala.

To finish the order for the Olympic Winter Games within 15 days, the company built a specific production team that included five of its best technicians and operated 24 hours a day.

The process involves over 10 steps, including raw material tempering, stress relieving, gear milling, examination, polishing and burr removing.

In less than 15 days, 65 racks with a length of 1.6 meters were sent to the stage construction site of the National Stadium in Beijing.

Junyu company has adopted a set of new detection systems, including photoelectric gear shape detection, gear thickness detection, hardness detection and shape detection to increase the quality of its racks.
