Intellectual property rights protection in YRD to get boost
Intellectual property rights, or IPR protection in the important textiles industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is expected to get a real boost.
That's in the wake of a recent agreement on the rapid and coordinated protection of IPRs signed by the China Nantong (Home Textile) Intellectual Property Rapid Protection Center – located in the Tongzhou district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – and three other IP rapid protection centers in East China's Zhejiang province.
The accord – which focuses on apparel, textiles and home designs, respectively – is seen as giving full play to the advantages of various regions and is projected to strengthen collaborative protection. It will boost exchanges and cooperation for IPRs – in terms of patents, trademarks, copyrights and other matters – between the four centers.
The centers for rapid IPR protection are expected to work closely together to forcefully crack down on IP violations and create a positive atmosphere for IP protection, to boost the high-quality development of the textiles industry in the YRD region.
