Two exhibitions underway in Jianghai Museum
Two exhibitions about seal carvings and butterfly specimens are currently being held at Jianghai Museum in Haimen district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, local media reported on Jan 27.

The former exhibition features 150 works including seals, calligraphy works and paintings created by 106 members of Xiling Seal Art Society are being displayed at the museum. The exhibition will run till April 10.
Established in 1904, Xiling Seal Art Society is an academic association renowned for its study of seal carvings, calligraphy and paintings. It enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad for its outstanding achievements in seal carvings and rich art collections.

An exhibition of butterfly specimens is also underway at Jiangsu Jianghai Museum. The exhibition will last till March 15.
Held by Jiangsu Jianghai Museum and Changzhou Museum, the exhibition exhibits 123 butterfly specimens from all over the world, including some rare and precious species. Daily necessities, paintings and calligraphy works featuring the butterfly are also on display.
In addition, activities themed on science and technology promotion will be held during the exhibition period.
