Real economy boosts revenue growth in Haimen

The real economy in Haimen district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has experienced stable development and displayed strong resilience this year, both of which have boosted the district's revenue growth.
According to the finance bureau of Haimen, the district's general public budget revenue over the first 11 months of this year reached 7.46 billion yuan ($1.17 billion), the highest among the six counties and districts in Nantong. Haimen's tax revenue during this period was 6.14 billion yuan, also the highest in Nantong.
Major companies in Haimen have posted improved performances compared with last year and made greater contributions to the district's revenue. Sixty-seven industrial companies in Haimen that paid taxes of more than 10 million yuan this year generated a combined 44.7 billion yuan in sales from January to November, up 14.8 percent year-on-year.
Among those that have achieved significant development is Jiangsu Easpring Material Technology Co Ltd, which saw its sales soar 134.6 percent year-on-year to 4.18 billion yuan in the first 11 months of 2021.
The Haimen district government has intensified efforts to attract businesses and investment. In the first three quarters, 17 major industrial projects were launched, including one worth over 10 billion yuan and four projects each worth over 2 billion yuan.
A slew of measures have also been introduced to create a favorable business environment and provide subsidies for local companies.
