Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province was included on the 2021 list of rural logistical demonstration areas released by department of transportation of Jiangsu province on Dec 7.

In recent years, Haimen has been ramping up efforts to promote the development of rural logistics networks by promoting the integration and cooperation between the transportation and postal industries.

With the help of policy and market advantages in the transportation industry, as well as logistics network and brand advantages in the post industry, Haimen has formed a sound logistical service system.

Haimen currently has three district-level rural logistics hubs and 29 district-level rural logistics service stations, including two cold-chain logistics stations, three integrated transport service stations, and 230 service sites in its villages. The coverage rate of the logistical service sites in towns and villages has reached 100 percent.

Moving forward, Haimen will continue to boost the high-quality development of logistical services, which will also promote rural revitalization.
