Hengli (Nantong) Textile New Material Industrial Park, located on Kaisha Island in Tongzhou district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has been working to integrate low-carbon and energy-saving development concepts into intelligent manufacturing. It was awarded the title of national green plant and model smart workshop in Jiangsu.

The Hengli (Nantong) industrial park is involved in the production of high-end, ultra-fine, differentiated, and functional high-end polyester filaments. It ranks highly at home and abroad in terms of per unit energy consumption of polyester fiber products.

In addition to devoting efforts to energy conservation, the park has also taken advantage of idle roofs to install photovoltaic power generation facilities. After the entire project is completed, 150 million kilowatt-hours of electricity will be generated a year.

The Hengli (Nantong) industrial park spares no expense when it comes to environmental protection facilities and equipment. It has carried out cooperation with enterprises engaged in environmental protection and scientific and technological research and development and strives to ensure its facilities meet environmental protection standards and regulations within the next 10 years.
