It was all hands on deck as the first round of harvesting of Jin Si Huang Ju or golden chrysanthemums kicked off on Nov 2, in an area covering 2,667 square meters in the Nongdao Organic Agricultural Park in Qilong town – situated in Qidong, a county-level city administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province.

At Nongdao Park it's all natural, with pesticides and chemical fertilizers prohibited.

Every year, the golden chrysanthemum seedlings sprout in March and after some eight months of growing, they are picked towards the end of October and made into chrysanthemum tea.

It's widely appreciated that golden chrysanthemum tea comes better in glass cups, which looks crystal clear.
