Chrysanthemum exhibition to be held in Nantong

The 31st Nantong Chrysanthemum Exhibition is set to take place at Tangzha Park, Chongchuan district, Nantong in November, according to a news conference held on Oct 22.

The annual exhibition is expected to showcase the ecological achievement and urban landscape designs in Nantong and will feature 14 outdoor landscape designs, a chrysanthemum exhibition, a flower arrangement competition, and a potted chrysanthemum competition.

Each of the 14 outdoor landscape designs will cover an area of at least 200 square meters.

The chrysanthemum exhibition will display 200 to 300 species of chrysanthemum cultivated by Nantong City Flower (Chrysanthemum) Breed Conservation Base. Some of these species have won awards at international and national exhibitions.

The potted chrysanthemum competition will select 100 chrysanthemum pots from more than 400 entries from local lovers of chrysanthemum to display during the exhibition.

Visitors need to make an online reservation before participating in the exhibition. Due to the current pandemic situation, the daily visitor number will be capped at 10,000. Visitors are required to show their health QR code and travel QR code and have their temperature taken before entering Tangzha Park.
