The 14th China (Chuanjiang) Home Textile Drawings Fair was held in the China Nantong Home Textile City in Tongzhou district – administered by Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – on Oct 19-20.

Boasting superior home textile design and supporting service resources, the fair aimed to further enhance design quality and promote the high-quality development of the local home textile industry.

Chuanjiang town is famous in China for its home textile industry. In 2020, its market turnover exceeded 100 billion yuan ($15.62 billion), and in recent years, the town has focused on boosting industrial upgrading through creative design. It has attracted more than 200 enterprises engaged in creative design and over 3,000 designers.

In order to improve the core competitiveness of its products, Chuanjiang town launched the drawings fair in 2008. To date, over 1,700 famous drawing design companies and institutions from home and abroad have been invited to participate in the event, exhibiting nearly 340,000 drawings.

This year's fair extended the scope of its participants over the previous years. No longer limited to local enterprises, the fair invited seven colleges and universities related to home textiles, as well as home textile design companies from Nantong's other regions.

Moreover, the design field has been expanded. In addition to home textile products, the host also sent invitations to design organizations engaged in visual design, photography, and packaging to attract more excellent home textile design resources and supporting services.
