The Rudong National Rural Industrial Integration Development Demonstration Park, located in Juegang sub-district, Rudong county in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, is home to a demonstration base for distance teaching.

Relying on the distance teaching platform and combining the characteristic industrial projects of the towns under its jurisdiction, Rudong has tentatively formed a "one town, one area, one specialty" agricultural development model.

Dayu town is a traditional agricultural town that revolves around agriculture. Driven by the distance teaching base, Yudong, Xiangtai, Gongwang, and other villages planted 15,000 mu (1,000 hectares) of distinctive commercial crops such as broccoli, green Chinese onions, and golden chrysanthemum, creating jobs for over 3,200 local villagers.

A total of 140 capable people were selected to record videos on preferential agricultural policies, practical technologies, and marketing. These videos are available through the distance teaching platform.

As one of 34 national e-commerce demonstration bases recognized by the Ministry of Commerce, Rudong has moved the sale of local specialty products onto the internet, boosted the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and benefited more enterprises through distance education.
