The China Road Transport Association recently announced its list of China's top 100 high-integrity road transport companies and Linsen Logistics Group – based in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – made the cut, ranking 5th according to local media reports on Aug 5.
Currently, Linsen Logistics has more than 2,000 employees, with total assets of 1.5 billion yuan ($231.4 million) and last year the group reported nearly 6 billion yuan in operating revenue.
After 70 years of development, it has become a comprehensive group integrating general cargo, dangerous goods and bulk cargo operations – as well as cold chain goods transport, multimodal transport, storage and deliveries and driver training services.
The list is widely seen as a key activity carried out by the association, to help guide the innovative development and reputable business practices of road transport enterprises.
Linsen Logistics has made the list now for a number of consecutive years and its ranking has reportedly been on the rise year by year.
A spokesman for the group said the latest ranking was not only an objective evaluation of its competitiveness, but was also high recognition of the integrity of its management.
Moving forwards, plans are for the group to continue to adjust, transform and upgrade its business structure.
It is also set to continue to improve its operational efficiency and customer experiences. This will reportedly be done on the basis of the strict observation of above-board practices and the provision of higher-value logistics services to the market.
