The list for the first group of Jiangsu Competitive Products was released on Nov 16. Products from two Nantong enterprises were included – the woven fusible interlining from Nantong Haihui Technology Development Co Ltd which is located in Chongchuan district, and the electrode foil for aluminum electrolytic capacitors from Nantong Haixing Electronics Co Ltd located in Tongzhou district.

The certification of Jiangsu Competitive Products is a pioneering work to improve brand influence through market mechanisms based on international practices. The two companies that have been certified this time are both winners of the Nantong Mayor Quality Award.

As a national high-tech enterprise, Nantong Haihui Technology Development Co Ltd boasts 27 invention patents and participates in the formulation of 19 State-level industry standards. With products exported to more than 70 countries and regions, the company has a global sales network.

In recent years, the Nantong market supervision administration has focused on promoting brand construction and improving brand quality. Now, Nantong has had 27 China Top Brands and four national demonstration areas for famous brands, ranking first in Jiangsu province.

Since the certification work for Jiangsu Competitive Products was launched, the market supervision administration took the initiative to organize and recommend 58 key enterprises in agriculture, manufacturing, engineering and the service industries to apply for the certification, and 21 have now been listed for cultivation as provincial key enterprises.
