Feifan Orchestra, one of the representatives of the modern folk music groups in China, staged a concert at the Gengsu Theater in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province on July 25, as part of its national tour.

The musicians performed a number of classical tunes in a variety of musical styles, such as Latin, blues, as well as rock and roll, using traditional Chinese and foreign musical instruments.

Feifan Orchestra was founded in 2002 with four female members – Lu Hong, Cui Junmiao, Cai Yang and Li Juan.

They have left their footprint around the world and performed as the only musical instrument group at the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
