An investment roadshow for Chuanjiang town – located in the Tongzhou district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – was held on July 19, during which officials plugged the district's home textiles industry.

Wang Yubin, Party secretary of Chuanjiang, gave a briefing at the event – which took place in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province – on the town's advantages and development directions in terms of its industry collaborations, innovation resources and business environment.

Wang invited entrepreneurs to visit and invest in Chuanjiang.

Gong Wei, chairman of the Chuanjiang people's congress, said his town was located at the key part of the planned Airport Home Textile City and the town boasted great transport. Gong added that with a complete industry supply chain, Chuanjiang had a large market share and multiple brands.

Several projects for high-tech production of fabrics, digital textiles and recruiting were also signed at the event.

In recent years, Chuanjiang has consistently focused on optimizing its business environment and concentrated on providing top services for its resident enterprises. In the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), plans are for it to continue to inject new energy into regional economic development.
