Five Nantong scenic spots open for free on July 1
Green Valley City in Chongchuan district is known as the "lungs of the city," due to its beautiful natural landscapes. It was once a private garden owned by Chen Baochu, a businessman who lived during the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). More than 2,000 trees spanning over 150 different varieties grow throughout the scenic spot, of which around 20 are over 100 years old. [Photo provided to en.nantong.gov.cn]
