People experience Dragon Boat Festival folk culture in Tangzha

In recent years, Tangzha Ancient Town in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has carried out a number of experiential activities involving intangible cultural heritage by making use of its rich cultural industry, which is becoming increasingly popular among locals and tourists.

On June 12, several folk activities related to the Dragon Boat Festival were held in Tangzha, with hundreds of people participating.

Under the supervision and guidance of many teachers, dozens of families make perfume pouches at the southeast corner of Zhang Jian Square in Tangzha. Perfume pouches are traditional Dragon Boat handicrafts that are filled with herbs to expel evil spirits. [Photo/ntfabu.com]
