Being one of the first group of demonstration towns for rural e-commerce in Jiangsu province, Chuanjiang now has more than 20,000 residents engaged in e-commerce through websites, WeChat and livestreaming.

By virtue of the success of its home textiles e-commerce, Tongzhou district has promoted e-commerce to other towns and villages.

Its daily sales have now topped 50,000 yuan on average.

Qu Feifei, who is in charge of Hongke Household, said that nowadays network links them with the businessmen from all over the world. Last year, the firm achieved annual sales of over 30 million yuan. Qu said that this year they will pay more attention to online sales, to expand revenue.

At present, Tongzhou district has developed an online marketing ecosystem focusing on home textiles products, agricultural products and fitness equipment. In 2020, the online sales of Tongzhou reached 17.27 billion yuan, up 16 percent on the previous year.
