Exhibition of leading artists kicks off in Hai'an city

The Have a look at Xiling art exhibition kicked off on May 18 at the Hai'an Museum – in the city of Hai'an, under the jurisdiction of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province – a date that marked International Museum Day.
The Xiling Seal Art Society, founded in 1904, is an organization – based in Hangzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province – devoted to the art of seal carving.
It is one of the country's most important traditional stone seal engraving associations.
More than 60 works by leading Xiling artists – including Fei Xinwo, Chen Dayu and Gao Shixiong – are now on display at the ongoing show.
The works are in various forms – among them couplets, letters and banners – in the expressive categories of calligraphy, paintings and seals.
The exhibition of the exquisite works of the Xiling artists runs to July 12.
